The questions people ask before they buy, and a few they ask afterwards.

Is this a physical book?

No. Every guide is a PDF, delivered to your inbox the moment you order. Nothing is posted out, and there's no shipping address to enter.

How quickly do I get it?

Immediately. A download link is emailed the second your order completes. If it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then email us and we'll resend it.

Which one is right for me?

If you want to understand what your dog is feeling and saying, start with What Your Dog Is Telling You. If you want to know what's really in their food and keep them busy with it, choose The Dog Food & Enrichment Companion. If you have lost a dog, or are preparing to, The Weight of a Small Life was written for you. If you want more than one, The Untailled Library includes all three, every printable, the card deck and every future guide, for less than buying them separately.

Is it right for a puppy, or for an older dog?

Yes to both. What Your Dog Is Telling You works for dogs of any age and is a good first read if you're new to dogs. The Companion has specific advice for puppies and senior dogs, including which enrichment ideas suit them and which to avoid.

Do I need any training experience?

None. Every guide starts from the beginning and explains its subject in plain English. No jargon, no prior reading.

I live outside the US. Will it still work for me?

Yes. Prices are shown in your own currency at checkout. The Companion covers both US and UK labelling rules and units, and The Weight of a Small Life includes pet loss support services in the US and the UK.

Is this veterinary advice?

No. The guides are educational and reviewed by a veterinary professional, but they don't diagnose or treat anything. Each one is explicit about when something needs a vet rather than a book.

Can I read it on my phone?

Yes. PDFs work on phone, tablet, desktop, or printed. The quick reference pages are designed to be printed and stuck on the fridge.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every purchase comes with our 30 day promise. If a guide doesn't help, email hello@untailled.com within 30 days of buying and we will refund you in full. The full wording is in our refund policy.

What if my download does not arrive?

Write to us and we will fix it at no cost. A delivery problem is never treated as a refund question. The same goes for a link that has expired, a file that will not open, or a duplicate charge. Details are in the delivery policy.

Will I be charged again?

No. Every purchase is a single payment. There is no subscription, no membership and nothing to cancel.

Can I buy one as a gift?

Yes. Enter their email address at checkout so the download goes straight to them, or buy it yourself and forward the delivery email.

Can I share the files with someone else?

Your copy is licensed to you personally, to read and to print for your own household. Sharing, reselling or republishing the files is not permitted, which is what keeps the guides affordable. The detail is in our terms of service.

Do I get future updates?

Corrections and revisions to a guide you own are free for as long as that guide exists. If you own The Untailled Library, every future guide is included at no extra cost.
